Wow – It’s less than 1 week away!!! What am I talking about??? FALL!!! Fall is really my favorite season. I have grown less and less tolerant of the humid summers of the North East. But, the end is in sight! I just hope it lasts a good long while before Old Man Winter rains snows on my parade!
Hello Blog Hoppers! If you arrived here from Andrea Sherman’s blog, you’re on the right track! If you’re a faithful follower or just happened acrossed this blog, please make sure you check out the other talented paper crafters at the end of my post!
Gosh, this seemed like the longest month every! It’s been about 3 weeks since the annual Close to My Heart Convention and since we got the very first sneak peek of the Zoe Collection as well as the newest, exclusive CTMH Cricut Cartridge, ARTISTRY!!!! Finally, I am able to share these with you!!!
I just LOVE this cartridge! Most of you that know me, know that I’m a hard-core Silhouette Cameo user. I recently bought a Cricut, simply so I could use and sell the CTMH cartridges. Well, I just adore this cartridge and I’m really beginning to like using the Cricut! This collection is different from previous collections and I really think you will like it.
Next I’d like to share with you the Zoe Collection! And how better to show you than to use it??? I hope you like my project. My daughter Izabella started swim lessons at the beginning of summer. She was extremely afraid of the water. My layout uses pictures taken about 4 weeks into her lesson. It was almost as though I were looking at a completely different kid!!! She just loves the water now. What a difference a few lessons make!
Two days in a row I was able to craft. I like it! In fact, I love it! I thought I would use up the Seaside Paper Pack that I was using on yesterdays layout. I was digging it. Digging the colors, so why not? Seaside is really beach themed, but I didn’t have any more beach pictures, so I thought I would scrap one of my favorite places to visit. The Bay Area. I hope you enjoy it!
I used a sketch that I found on Pinterest from ScrapbookGeneration.com. I loved it! I find many 2 page layouts have way too many pictures and this one was perfect.
So, here is my take on it. I hope you like it. Oh and before I forget, the font is “Milkshake” available right now for free at Fairgoods.
Well, that’s probably all I’ll be posting this week. I am going to a crop on Saturday, so hopefully I’ll have something for you. Please remember to check out my Close to My Heart site. Have a great week!
I won’t even tell you it’s been awhile because you already know. Life just seems to be getting in the way these days, but I’m glad to say that I took some time today and crafted!
I’ve been wanting to use the Seaside Paper Pack for awhile now. I knew I had the perfect picture, so it was just a matter of time and yes, time was today. I really like the way it came out and it’s probably one of my favorites. Not because it’s incredibly good or anything, but it has pictures of TWO of my favorite people! My daughter Izabella and Pop-Pop.
Pop-Pop has always been an incredibly special person to me… and my girls. My dad died at the very young age of 50 and my Uncle Frank (aka Pop-Pop) took over that father / grandfather figure roll. Who better to fill that roll? My Dad and him were best buddies. We were always together… always. In fact, he walked me down the aisle when Jack and I married. The nicest man you would ever meet. Kind, generous… loving. Anyway, I hope my girls always remember how special he is and how much he loves them. So… onto the layout!
As you know, I’m a Close to My Heart distributor and have been for the last several months. I really love their products… their paper… their card stock… their embellishments. If you are paper crafter, card maker, scrapbooker, check out my Close to My Heart Store. Oh and a new catalog is coming out soon, so if you see anything in the current one, better grab it fast. Here we go!
Just wanted to share with you one of the newest Close to My Heart “My Reflections” paper packet – Blossom! I just love it! So Pretty!
I had ordered this paper pack as soon as it was available to order and I couldn’t wait to play around with it and finally be able to share it with you. I just love these colors together!
Here is the 2 page layout that I came up with using Blossom. I hope you like it!
I wouldn’t normally even think about putting these colors together, but they truly work. Close to My Heart must know what they’re doing! <wink> Oh and my kid’s pretty cute too! Stay tuned for some other really great projects I’ve done with CTMH products and while you’re waiting, check out my CTMH website!
Oh and before I forget, here is the Stamp of the Month Promotion! Spend $50 and get this stamp set for only $5 – regularly $17.95! Can’t beat that huh? Not even with a stick! 😀
